- Sam Menefee-Libey,
2008 New Leaders Summer Intern
What are you most passionate about?
I am passionate about eradicating the ethic of domination and supremacy that currently dictates the local, national, and global civic, economic, and social atmosphere and replacing it with anti-oppression politics rooted in an ethic of love.

You're stranded on a deserted island. What is one book or album that you can't live without?
Pedagogy of the Oppressed by Paulo Frerre.

What do you hope to take away from your experience as a CPL New Leader?
I hope to continue my educational experience and mental de-colonization, and to also learn how to effectively apply my knowledge and passion for anti-oppression work in a non-academic setting.
