"I feel it is extremely important to learn from others who have come before you as you try to develop into the best person that you can."

- Ivie Guobadia,
2008 New Leaders Summer Intern
What are you most passionate about?
I am most passionate about leveling the playing field for all.

You're stranded on a deserted island. What is one book or album that you can't live without?
I couldn't live without Jay-Z's Reasonable Doubt album. It is a classic with songs I could listen to over and over again.

What do you hope to take away from your experience as a CPL New Leader?
As a New Leaders Intern, I hope to not only gain skills from the training sessions in DC and from the organization I am placed with, but also from the people I will come in contact with. I hope to build on my interpersonal skills with other people to be able to understand them better so I can properly effect change that will be worthwhile for me and others. I feel it is extremely important to learn from others who have come before you as you try to develop into the best person that you can.
