Born in Enugu, Nigeria, Ivie immigrated to New York as a child. She is currently a rising senior at The George Washington University majoring in sociology with a minor in political science. Last summer she worked as an organizer in the North West Bronx Community and Clergy Coalition to help people of color and low-income communities build and sustain power to create change in their neighborhoods. As the Vice President of the Mu Delta chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. she truly believes in being of service to all mankind. |
