"The drive to have quality schools, the want to be recognized as a cooperative member of society, the need to be enchanted by good governance – these qualities reveal a common humanity and outweigh any racial, social or geographical difference. "

What do you hope to take away from your experience as a CPL New Leader?
The ethos of community, the drive to have quality schools, the want to be recognized as a cooperative member of society, the need to be enchanted by good governance – these qualities reveal a common humanity and outweigh any racial, social or geographical difference. I would like to take this idea and apply it practically to multiple situations. Rhetoric is one thing, but application is another. I would like to gain through the New Leaders Program firsthand insight into the detailed work it takes to bring this necessary mindset of commonality to reality. |
