- Curtis Maples,
2008 New Leaders Summer Intern
What are you most passionate about?
The change I'm passionate about seeing in the future, is a more harmonized society in which everyone treats the environment as an actual living thing worthy of consideration.

You're stranded on a deserted island. What is one book or album that you can't live without?
How to Survive on a Desert Island for Dummies would probably be the most useful book I could bring with me.

What do you hope to take away from your experience as a CPL New Leader?
First, I would like to work and learn in a culturally diverse environment. Second, I hope to learn new skills as well as learning how to apply the skills I already possess under the tutelage of the trainers and staff, for the social justice issues I would like to work on.
