CPL’s New Leaders Program connects talented and diverse youth to paid positions at leading progressive organizations and provides training, mentorship, coaching, and networking to help jump start life-long careers in progressive politics.

 

New Leaders Internship Program
For college students and other young leaders
CPL’s New Leaders Internship Program brings passionate young people from underrepresented communities to Washington DC for paid, on-the-job experience in a top progressive organization, leadership training, coaching, networking and community building.

The deadline to apply is March 13th, 2009; however, the application process is rolling and the earlier you apply, the higher likelihood you have of being matched with an organization of your choice.

CPL’s 2008 New Leaders have come from across the country to work on a variety of issues with progressive organizations in Washington, DC.

 

New Leaders Fellowship Program
For recent graduates and young people seeking full time work

Fellows are matched with a paid, entry level position with a progressive organization. Applications for Session 1 (January to July) of 2009 National New Leaders Fellowship are now closed.
